            <title>Charcoal Canister Reroute</title>
            <description><![CDATA[<p>Since I broke the charcoal canister way back when I was last working on the shifter cable replacement (and since the replacement part is something like $250 from toyota), I decide to just reroute things per <a href="http://www.alltrac.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7311&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=30">this discussion</a> via the alltrac.net forums.</p>

<p>I used new silicone tubing instead of re-using the existing hose, so I did not need to add a nylon fitting like in the illustration.</p>

<p>I tried to start the car, but it did not want to (part of the problem is probably that the new blow-off-valve is not attached, so there's a huge hole that can suck air in after the AFM, and part of the problem is also probably the old gas that is in the car).</p>]]></description>

            <title>In Review (maintenance since purchase)</title>
            <description><![CDATA[<p>Purchased car July 19, 2004.</p>

<p>The car had ~ 97,000 miles on it. I had the dealership change all fluids. They also replaced a wheel bearing.</p>

<p>98,000 miles - Replaced rear diff. cushion with aluminum one (have some replacement bushings for the subframe, but haven't installed them yet). Installed HKS Type-1 Turbo timer.</p>

<p>101,000 miles - changed oil and filter (Mobil 1 Synthetic 10w30 and genuine Toyota filter).</p>

<p>104,000 miles - needed new clutch. (Feb. - August 2005)<br />
  - Purchased and install Spec Stage 2 (kevlar) lightweight clutch (and throw out bearing) and aluminum flywheel<br />
  - Had transmission inspected by Team RIP engineering (Kalamazoo, MI)<br />
  - Installed TWM short shifter & TRD shift knob<br />
  - Installed leather shift boot<br />
  - Installed twosrus brass shifter base bushings<br />
  - Installed ball bearing shifter cable bushings<br />
  - Changed oil and filter (Mobil 1 Synthetic 10w30 and genuine Toyota filter)<br />
  - Changed transmission/transfer oil (Mobil 1 Synthetic 75w90 [GL-5])<br />
  - Changed coolant (PEAK Global LifeTime 50/50 Prediluted Antifreeze & Coolant)<br />
  - Replaced all vacuum hoses with silicone hoses<br />
  - Replaced upper and lower heater hoses with Toyota replacements<br />
  - Replaced radiator hoses with Samco silicone hoses<br />
  - Replaced coolant hoses near the water outlet with silicone hoses<br />
  - Replaced timing belt with Toyota replacement<br />
  - Replaced drive belts (alternator and A/C) with Toyota replacements<br />
  - Replaced water pump with Toyota replacement<br />
  - Replaced coolant hose from water pump to oil cooler with Toyota replacement<br />
  - Replaced fuel filter with Toyota replacement<br />
  - Replaced downpipe to midpipe exhaust gasket with Toyota replacement<br />
  - Replaced distributor cap and rotor with Toyota replacement<br />
  - Replaced spark plug wires with Toyota replacements<br />
  - Replaced driver's side front axle assembly (full) with Toyota replacement</p>]]></description>
