There has been tragic news in the world of hockey. Herb Brooks, coach of the legendary "Miracle on Ice" 1980 gold-medal winning Men’s Olympic Hockey team, has died at the age of 66. He died in a single vehicle accident on Monday.
Hailed as an innovator in the game of hockey, Brooks will be missed by all. His legacy, however, as the coach of the "Greatest Sports Moment of the 20th Century" (Sports Illustrated, 2000) will live on.
