Oops.

These are very funny.

*NEW NOTE* Target.com has already fixed their pages. There is no telling whether or not these are legit items at Amazon.com ... perhaps if they get taken down soon we will know. Either way ... Target pimping weed and hookers is freakin' funny.

Proof ...

This is proof that part of our culture is pathetic ... when there is a market for this thing.

Recount Tease

Could this be true? Could we have a full recount of all the votes in Ohio? Let us hope so .... I would be much more confident in the results if there were a recount.

Dennis Kucinich has an opinion as stated here.

POP Quiz

GMail is uber.

GMail is going to start offering POP3 and SMTP services for their users. Who knows if this is a 'bait and switch' ... or rather ... a 'bait and charge' ... but in the mean time, I will enjoy my POP3 capability.

A note: The spiffy GMail features you may be familiar with (Labels, HQ Search, etc.) will not be functional if you plan to use POP3. There are, of course, supplements for such functionality.

But we LOVED how you enforced the U.S. PATRIOT Act!

Ashcroft is going, going, gone. Even W. will be hard-pressed to find somebody who is worse then Ashcroft. Maybe we will even get someone who sings better!

My fear is that this is a setup to nominate John Ashcroft to the Supreme Court either as a true nominee (which will be filibustered) or as a distraction to sneak in another unknown but potentially worse candidate.

**UPDATE**
Alberto Gonzales has been named as Ashcroft's successor. Anyone know if this is good, bad or indifferent?

And the blogs fell silent ...

I am still trying to figure out how I feel about the election of George W. Bush to the office of President for a second term. I hesitate to call it a reelection due to the proceedings in '04 however, it is undoubtly his second and last term. I hope they aren't grooming Jeb for 2008.

To me there were three positives among an assload of negatives:
1. Barack Obama - IN - Hopefully, over the next four years he proves he is worth the hype.

2. Tom Daschle - OUT - What a sniveling, crazed and rabid twit. This guy has done nothing but hurt the Democratic Party for the past 10 years.

3. Democracy - IN - It appears that democracy won this election. I can't say that there wasn't vote tampering or that the final decision for President was a good one ... but the democractic process seems to have worked ... sort of. I just wish a majority of this country wasn't stupid, rhetoric believeing heels.

I may offer further analysis or I may not ... it depends on how I can contain my rage. ;)
