Movable Type has this neat 'bookmarklet' feature that creates a javascript link you can use to quickly post to your blog.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work with Safari.
This is especially bad since the bookmarklet is an easy way to add a link and description of a site you are browsing to your blog. Additionally, it's just about the easiest way to use trackback as a remote comment system.
Fortunately, I was able to quickly find a solution in the movable type forums.
I use this as my bookmarklet URL.
Update: It looks like MT sometimes doesn't auto-rebuild my index page, I'll have to investigate further.
Thanks for posting that bookmarklet! It works great.
Ditto on the goodness of your bookmarklet!
I just started working with MT on one of my servers to replace my family blog here, http://www.huml.org/. I have been tossing my arms up over WP and MT. I found a couple WP bookmarklets that had me interested in that. But now, after playing with yours, hmmmm, maybe it'll be MT:-) Thanks for the efforts!!
