People from Hansons are here installing new windows in my house right now.
Of course, since we currently have wind gusts of up to 43mph (according to weather.com) they can't do the 2nd story ones. (I don't blame them for not wanting to be on a ladder in wind like this).
So, they'll be back tomorrow or Sunday to finish up. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.
cool! did you try to jump on them while they were putting them in?? :)
No, I did not jump on them.
They are good, though. I'm very happy with them.
Sir,
Are you still happy with your Hansons Windows? I've heard good and bad about their company and would enjoy hearing from a satisfied customer.
Thank you.
Joanna M.
I am. I have noticed that my heating and cooling bills are lower (although some of my old windows had a lot of outside air leakage, you might not notice a big improvement if the windows you are replacing aren't as bad as mine were).
My only issues with the company are:
1. They are all about the hard sell (the sales pitch was by far the worst thing about the experience).
2. They keep sending people to canvas the neighborhood when someone near here gets windows (they don't bother to realize that I already have windows from them, so they knock on my door and waste some time).
... and if that's all I have to complain about, I figure that it was pretty good overall.
What kinds of bad things have you heard?
