My sister just called me for computer help.
It turns out that her laptop crashed (while running dashboard).
What's interesting is that this is the first time her Mac OS X machine has ever crashed (more than a couple of years of normal use), so she wasn't sure what to do.
What's extra interesting is that she has one of the iBooks that have the failing logic board. It's been replaced 3 times now (I think). She only asked for help from me the first time it happened.
If you had told me in 1992 when I was playing with the family's LCIII that soon I would be using Macs that had software that was more reliable than the hardware, I probably wouldn't have believed you.
